My Spoon" is a meal-assistance device designed to allow physically handicapped people to eat on their own. My Spoon is designed to be easy to operate by controlling a joystick with a part of the body that the user can move. However for those with severe disabilities, an easier control method is necessary. Therefore we are researching ways to automate My Spoon by incorporating image processing.
