SECOM has been selected as a “Double A-list company” in CDP 2025 for Climate Change and Water Security
–Achieving the highest rating “A-List” for the fourth consecutive year in Climate Change and the second consecutive year in Water Security–
SECOM CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Yasuyuki Yoshida) has been selected for the highest rating, the “A List” in the survey regarding initiatives on climate change and water security, conducted by the international environmental NGO, CDP in 2025. SECOM has now been recognized for the fourth consecutive year in climate change and the second consecutive year in water security.
CDP scores companies and municipalities worldwide on their strategies, responses, and disclosures efforts related to climate change, water resources, and forests, and publishes the results with outstanding initiatives as “A List” organizations.
We believe SECOM's inclusion in the Climate Change “A List” reflects CDP's recognition of SECOM's efforts, including disclosure of information in line with TCFD recommendations, commitment to Carbon Zero 2045, acquisition of SBT certification, and proactive adoption of renewable energy in accordance with RE100 standards.
And we also believe that SECOM's inclusion in the Water Security “A List” reflects a comprehensive evaluation of our initiatives, including identifying sites with high water risk and region-specific challenges, analyzing risks and opportunities, and implementing measures such as reducing water consumption using recycled water and water-saving equipment, managing water pollution, and adopting flood adaptation strategies.
Guided by our corporate philosophy of “Contributing to society through our business activities,” the SECOM Group will continue to advance initiatives toward realizing a decarbonized and recycling-oriented society.
