SECOM has been selected as a “Double A-list company” in the CDP 2024 Questionnaire on Climate Change and Water Security
SECOM CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, President: Yasuyuki Yoshida) has been recognized as an "A-list company" in the 2024 survey on climate change and water security initiatives conducted by CDP, an international environmental NGO. This marks the third consecutive year that SECOM has been selected for climate change and the first time for water security.
The CDP awards scores to companies and municipalities worldwide for their strategies, responses, and disclosure efforts related to climate change, water, and forests. Among these, organizations demonstrating superior initiatives are published as "A-list".
In 2024, over 24,800 companies worldwide responded to the questionnaire, and in Japan, over 2,100 companies responded, including over 70% of the companies listed on the Prime Market.

We believe that our inclusion on the CDP Climate Change "A-List" was due to our disclosure of TCFD-related information, our goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045, obtaining SBT certification, joining RE100 (Renewable Electricity 100%) and actively introducing renewable energy. Our inclusion on the "A-List" for water security was due to the thorough evaluation of high-risk locations and regional issues, as well as measures to address these issues, such as reducing water usage with recycled water and installing water-saving equipment, controlling water pollution, and mitigating floods.
SECOM will continue to promote initiatives aimed at achieving a decarbonized, recycling-oriented society, based on our corporate philosophy of "Contributing to society through our business".
