This project began with Ohtani's personal experience of welcoming a new family member, which deepened his desire to protect the irreplaceable space—his home—where he and his loved ones can feel truly safe with peace of mind. With the theme “Cherished Things,” the first phase launched a TV commercial, while the second phase conducted a Social Media campaign.
The third phase introduces an interactive online quiz designed to raise awareness around home security. Participants who complete the “Home Defense Test” will receive a special downloadable wallpaper featuring original illustrations of Shohei Ohtani, created by Gosho Aoyama, the author of the popular detective manga Detective Conan, and Takuya Mitsuda, the author of the renowned baseball manga MAJOR. This dream collaboration captures Shohei Ohtani's relentless pursuit of excellence in both pitching and batting, expressed through the distinctive styles of these two celebrated artists.
Please stay tuned for future content aimed at raising awareness around home security and crime prevention.

Comments from Gosho Aoyama:
“When I was asked to collaborate with Mr. Mitsuda, the renowned baseball manga artist, I thought, ‘Huh? Me? I'm just a romantic comedy and murder mystery manga artist!' But I figured this kind of honor might never come again, so I poured my heart into the drawing. Please keep defending your home team with powerful pitching and batting—just like SECOM!”
